The Ministry of Energy reports a stable situation in Ukraine's energy system. Due to the hostilities and technical disruptions, 482 settlements remain without power supply, and power companies have restored power to 14,728 consumers.
No power outages are planned in Ukraine today. In Dnipropetrovs'k region, there were power outages due to arson discovered by personnel at a substation. As of the morning, 482 settlements remain without power supply. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Tuesday, UNN reports.
Generation and consumption
Today, there will be no scheduled power outages. The situation in the power system has been stabilized.
To maintain the stable operation of the power system, it is important to use electricity rationally and economically, especially during peak hours - from 7:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00.
Consequences of shelling
Kherson region: Several substations and household consumers in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were cut off from power as a result of shelling. The power supply has been partially restored.
Donetsk region: overhead power line was disconnected due to hostilities. Consumers did not lose power.
Dnipropetrovska oblast: substation staff discovered an arson attack on power equipment by unauthorized persons, which cut off power to household consumers. The fire was extinguished.
Networks status
Western region: high-voltage substations and household consumers lost power. The power supply has been restored to all consumers. In addition, a high-voltage overhead line was disconnected due to a fire at a substation.
Northern region: due to technological disruptions, substations and household consumers connected to them lost power. The power supply has been restored to all consumers.
Southern region: a high-voltage overhead line connecting the power systems of Ukraine and Moldova was briefly disconnected. The substation and household consumers lost power due to technological disruptions. The power supply has been restored.
Emergencies
Kherson region: a 51-year-old electrician repairing overhead lines injured his legs due to a pole shift. The worker was taken to the hospital.
Donetsk region: the ventilation system at one of the mines stopped working. At the time of the incident, there were 27 employees in the mine. The ventilation equipment was promptly put back into operation.
Power outage for consumers
Over the past day, power engineers restored power to 14,728 consumers who were cut off from electricity as a result of hostilities.
In total, 482 settlements remain without power supply as of this morning due to the hostilities and technical violations.
Situation at ZNPP
"The water level in the cooling pond is 14.75 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.
