New rules for traveling abroad for men aged 18-25: what the Cabinet of Ministers has changed

The government has updated the rules for crossing the border for men aged 18-25 who served under contract in the Armed Forces. A special certificate from the unit commander and a military registration document are now required to leave.
The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the rules for crossing the state border by men aged 18 to 25 during martial law who served under contract. This was announced by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on Telegram, UNN reports.

According to Melnychuk, the government has amended the rules for crossing the border during martial law by Ukrainian males aged 18 to 25 who have served under contract in the Armed Forces or an intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense and who had not served in the military (except for basic military service) before concluding such a contract.
In particular, passage across the state border is carried out by authorized officials of the State Border Guard Service, subject to compliance with the rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine and the availability of a certificate issued by the commander of the military unit (head of the territorial center for recruitment and social support), the head of the relevant unit of the intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in the form approved by the Ministry of Defense, indicating information on the conclusion of such a contract; military registration document.

Since December 14 , passenger traffic at the border with Ukraine has remained high and dynamic. Passenger traffic decreased on Christmas Day, but started to grow again after the holiday. Currently, about 85% of people crossing the border are citizens of Ukraine.
