171 battles took place on the front line last day, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction, and the enemy was also active in the Kursk region and in the Lyman direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning report on March 31, showing a map of hostilities for March 30, writes UNN.

Yesterday, the enemy launched 2 missile and 116 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used two missiles and dropped 223 KABs. In addition, he carried out more than 5,300 thousand shellings, 130 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,620 kamikaze drones for strikes.

"Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 14 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, as well as one command post of the Russian invaders," the statement reads.

Situation by directions

In the Kharkiv direction, our troops stopped four enemy attacks in the areas of Volchansk, Kamenka, and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupyansk direction, six enemy attacks took place yesterday. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the direction of Radkivka, Pishchane, Bohuslavka, Petropavlivka and near Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times. He tried to advance near Nadiya, Yampolivka, Kolodyazi and towards Bohuslavka, Novyi and Novomykhailivka.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders five times near Verkhnyokamianske and Ivano-Daryivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat engagements were recorded near Stupochky and towards Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Krymske, Toretsk and towards Diliivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 73 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Oleksandropol, Kalynove, Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Kotlyne, Udachne, Andriivka, as well as towards Malynivka, Kotlyarivka, Bohdanivka and Oleksiivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces stopped 11 attacks on the positions of our troops near Kostyantynopol and towards Rozliv and Vesele.

In the Huliaipole direction, the invaders carried out two attacks near Pryvilne and towards Vilne Pole.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders four times near the settlements of Mali Shcherbaky and Stepove.

In the Prydniprovsky direction, the enemy conducted two offensive actions in the direction of Sadove, without success.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

"In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped 21 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 20 air strikes using 31 guided bombs, and also carried out 347 artillery shellings of the positions of our troops and settlements, including five from multiple launch rocket systems," the statement said.
