“Mommy's achievements”: The Duma still includes Medvedchuk's yacht in the successful cases of ARMA
Kyiv • UNN
Olena Duma continues to call the case with Medvedchuk's yacht a success, despite the disruption of the sale. Experts demand her resignation and investigation, emphasizing PR instead of results.

The head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, Olena Duma, despite the seemingly obvious failure to sell the yacht of ex-People's Deputy-traitor Viktor Medvedchuk, continues to call this case one of ARMA's most resounding successes, writes UNN.
Details
Recently, Olena Duma presented a public report on ARMA's activities for 2024. She did not forget to report on the growth of all performance indicators, impressive figures of income received from asset management, funds and sale of property, which, as it turned out, are very difficult to verify.
In the public report, we focused on UAH 12.37 billion, which was the result of the agency's activities from the management of seized funds, asset management and asset sales. All this became possible thanks to the introduction of new transparent rules on the transparent and transparent sales platforms
The head of ARMA did not forget to boast about the successful cases of "returning" assets from abroad.
We have the first examples and cases for us to return all these assets to Ukraine, and for them to work not for the enemy, but against the enemy. The famous yacht "Royal Romance" by Viktor Medvedchuk, which is currently awaiting international legal assistance to legalize the decision in the Republic of Croatia
However, including Medvedchuk's yacht in ARMA's successful cases is not only premature, but also no longer relevant.
The Croatian court arrested the yacht of the ex-People's Deputy-traitor for the maximum term - two years, which expired on June 25, 2024. During this time, including thanks to the "titanic efforts" of the head of ARMA, this asset was never sold.
At the same time, during her entire time in office, Olena Duma actively promoted the topic of Medvedchuk's yacht. However, the result of this is zero.
The leadership (ARMA - ed.) took an incomprehensible position and used it (Medvedchuk's yacht - ed.) more for PR than to fulfill its obligations
Experts also emphasized that Olena Duma should be held responsible for the failure to sell this expensive asset.
First, a criminal proceeding must be opened unequivocally, because someone acted in the interests of Medvedchuk. Who this someone is - the investigation has to find out who exactly committed these actions. Second, the head of ARMA Duma must bear, at a minimum, political responsibility to begin with. She must be immediately dismissed
Despite the obvious failure in this case, Olena Duma does not admit her mistake and calmly states that the court in Croatia should give her a few more years to finally sell the specified asset. And she is trying to shift the responsibility to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
So it is obvious that the case with Medvedchuk's yacht is not an example of effective work, but rather evidence of failure. But instead of drawing conclusions and admitting responsibility, Olena Duma stubbornly continues to use this story as a "success". This approach testifies to the main priority of the current ARMA leadership - not the result, but the public image.

Earlier, the head of the Verkhovna Rada's Anti-Corruption Committee, Anastasia Radina, noted that maintaining a constructive dialogue with ARMA is constantly complicated by manipulations. She cited three examples that demonstrate how the agency distorts data about its activities. One of them, Radina called the case when the anti-corruption committee asked ARMA how many assets they have and how many of them have been transferred to management? The agency reported that there are 69 thousand assets in the register, and 36 thousand have been transferred to management, i.e. about 47%. However, a detailed analysis revealed that 20 thousand of these 36 thousand assets are movable property of Mezhyhirya, including bottles of wine, furniture and documents, which have no independent economic value.
In response, the head of ARMA Olena Duma called on the deputy to "analyze the information".
Later, Anastasia Radina published an analysis of ARMA's work under Duma's leadership and noted that in a year and a half in office, she concluded only seven contracts that brought income as of the end of 2024.
