It should be noted that the situation in the region remains extremely tense, as a strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus killed 16 people, including seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards, the ideological army of the Islamic Republic, according to one of the non-governmental organizations.
The day before, the Iranian news agency briefly increased tensions by posting a message in Arabic on the social media site X that the entire airspace over Tehran was closed for military exercises.
