Israel has warned France of the potential threat of terrorist attacks by pro-Iranian groups during the Olympic Games in Paris. France has taken large-scale security measures, and Israeli athletes are under round-the-clock protection.

On Thursday, July 25, Israel warned France of the potential threat of "terrorist attacks" by Iranian-backed groups during the Olympic Games in Paris.  This was reported by Le Figaro, according to UNN.

"Some seek to harm the celebration of this joyous event," Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz wrote to his French counterpart Stephane Sejourne in a letter, a copy of which was leaked to the media.

We now have assessments of potential threats from Iranian terrorist groups and other terrorist organizations to carry out terrorist attacks against members of the Israeli delegation and Israeli tourists during the Olympic Games

To ensure the safety of the Summer Olympics, France has taken extensive security measures. All Israeli athletes participating in the competition are under round-the-clock personal protection of the elite French police force.
