The Israeli military announced the elimination of a high-ranking Hezbollah commander following a strike on southern Lebanon, UNN reports citing Sky News.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, the target of Friday's strike in the area south of the Litani River was Ali Musa Daqduq.
The statement said he "was a source of knowledge and possessed extensive operational experience."
The IDF also stated that in recent years he "played a central role in organizing terrorist attacks and combat operations against Israel and IDF soldiers."
The post below from the Israeli Ambassador to the US states that he was "personally responsible for the 2007 terrorist attack targeting American troops."
"He will no longer terrorize American troops, nor the peoples of Israel and Lebanon," stated Yechiel Leiter.
