In Kozacha Lopan, a man died and a woman was seriously injured due to the detonation of an FPV drone

In the village of Kozacha Lopan, a 49-year-old man died, and a 58-year-old woman sustained severe injuries during a drone explosion that they tried to pick up. This was reported by the head of the Derhachi CMA, Vyacheslav Zadorenko, as conveyed by UNN.

According to available information, on April 16, around 3:00 PM, two local residents attempted to pick up an enemy drone, a "zhdun," which had been lying on one of the streets for several days. As a result of these actions, the drone detonated.

The man died on the spot from shrapnel wounds, while the woman was thrown several meters by the blast wave – she sustained numerous shrapnel wounds to her body and an open fracture of her leg.

Thanks to the efforts of village head Lyudmyla Vakulenko, local volunteers, and ambulance medics, the woman was successfully evacuated and hospitalized the next day. Her condition is currently stable, and there is no threat to her life.

Once again, I urge citizens under no circumstances to touch drones, mines, missile remnants, or any other explosive objects. The frontline territory is not a place for entertainment and satisfying one's own curiosity. Such reckless actions can cost you your life and health.
