IAEA recorded damage to equipment of ZNPP laboratory following drone strike

The IAEA recorded damage to the meteorological equipment of the ZNPP laboratory following reports of a drone attack. Rafael Grossi called for maximum restraint near nuclear facilities.

Following reports of a drone attack, damage to equipment at the Zaporizhzhia NPP laboratory was recorded, the IAEA reported on the night of May 5, according to UNN.
Today, the IAEA team visited the External Radiation Monitoring Laboratory (ERML) of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, a day after the plant reported it had been attacked by a drone. The team found damage to some of the laboratory's meteorological monitoring equipment, which is no longer operational,
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, as stated, "reiterates the call for maximum military restraint near all nuclear facilities to avoid safety risks."
