U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that NATO must return to its core role as a strong military alliance. According to him, the NATO Secretary General plays an important role in this process, working alongside the United States and President Donald Trump. He made this statement at a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, reports UNN.

NATO 3.0 is a post-Cold War recognition that it must return to being a true hard military alliance that has real military capabilities capable of deterring here on the continent and taking the lead in the defense of Europe," stated U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
