Google expands access to the agentic AI assistant Spark, announced at I/O. The assistant is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, but does not work in the European Economic Area.
Google is making Gemini Spark, the agentic AI assistant announced at this year's I/O developer conference, available to more users, UNN writes, citing Engadget.

Spark becomes available to everyone who pays $20 per month for Google AI Pro. It also becomes available worldwide to Google AI Ultra users, who pay between $100 and $200 per month, except for countries in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria.
Spark runs on Gemini 3.5 and is deeply integrated into Google Workspace applications. Users can assign tasks by going to the Spark page or through the sidebar on a computer, or by tapping the corresponding option in the menu on a mobile device.
Users can then enter the tasks they want Spark to perform. For example, they can instruct Spark to check their email and calendar schedule every morning, and then indicate what to prioritize.
Spark can also automatically create draft replies to emails from a specific person that arrive in the user's inbox, or summarize long email threads.
Users can also use Spark to create detailed reports in Google Docs based on meeting notes and emails.
