Firefighting operations continue at the Lavra and Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv following a massive Russian strike

Due to the Russian attack, the roof of the Assumption Cathedral in the Lavra is on fire, as well as the Mystetskyi Arsenal. Rescuers are working at more than 50 locations across Kyiv.

In Kyiv, the extinguishing of fires at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the "Mystetskyi Arsenal" continues following a massive Russian attack, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Monday, UNN writes.
In Kyiv, on the grounds of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, the cleanup of the aftermath of Russian strikes is ongoing. In particular, a fire broke out on the roof of the Assumption Cathedral over an area of about 800 square meters. Additionally, a fire occurred in the building of the National Cultural-Art and Museum Complex "Mystetskyi Arsenal" over an area of 1,000 square meters
As indicated, rescuers and all city services are working at the sites, with the necessary specialized equipment from the State Emergency Service deployed.
As Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported, as a result of the enemy's massive attack on Kyiv, damage and fires have been recorded in almost all districts of the city. Emergency rescue services are working at about 50 locations.
