EU donates almost 65 thousand textbooks for grades 5-6 to Kyiv region - Kravchenko

Kyiv region received almost 65,000 textbooks on computer science and art for grades 5-6 from the EU. The cost of the textbooks is over UAH 4 million.
Kyiv region has received almost 65 thousand textbooks for grades 5-6 from the European Union, said Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Materials Agency , on Sunday. He noted that the EU initiative "School Textbooks for Ukraine" is funded under the European Erasmus+ program, UNN reports.
International partners funded the printing of certain editions of textbooks for grades 5 and 6. The cost of the textbooks received by the educational institutions of Kyiv region is over UAH 4 million
In particular, schools in Kyiv region received them:
- Computer Science textbook for the 5th grade - 32,511 copies.
- Art textbook for the 6th grade - 32,266 copies.
This year, other international partners - Japan and the United States - also donated textbooks to schools in Kyiv region.
