China has stated that the United States is copying artificial intelligence models developed by Chinese companies. This was reported by the Finnish publication Yle, citing the Singaporean news agency CNA, writes UNN.

Beijing's statement came after the American side previously accused Chinese companies of using others' developments to create their own artificial intelligence models.
According to Yle, this specifically refers to the technology of distillation — a method of training a smaller AI model by mimicking the behavior of a larger model. The US claims that Chinese companies applied this approach without proper permission.
At the same time, as reported by the BBC, the administration of President Donald Trump also accused the Chinese company Moonshot of hacking Nvidia servers and using their computing power to train artificial intelligence models. Yle notes that it was unable to independently verify the validity of these claims.
Artificial intelligence models, such as the American ChatGPT and Claude and the Chinese DeepSeek, belong to large language models that learn to analyze and generate texts and program code.
