During a meeting on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau strongly condemned the recent missile attack on Ukraine by a terrorist country. The Prime Minister of Canada emphasized his country's readiness to provide the necessary medical support to the victims of the russian attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.

Justin Trudeau also announced a new additional package of military support for Ukraine in the amount of 500 million Canadian dollars.
