Starting July 1, new loans for business will become available, and VAT on robots has been abolished. The government has simplified conditions for the energy and defense sectors.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine discussed further steps for the de-shadowing of the economy and deregulation with entrepreneurs. This was reported by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko following a regular meeting of the Council for Support of Entrepreneurship, UNN reports.

Details

The head of the ministry outlined key priorities:

  • further bringing the economy out of the shadows;
    • simplification of regulatory procedures;
      • improving conditions for doing business.

        Svyrydenko also noted that the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada simplified procedures for defense enterprises, extended localization requirements to defense procurement, and abolished VAT on ground robotic systems.

        To support business in the energy sector, affordable lending for the development of distributed generation was launched and conditions were created for the rapid connection of new capacities

        In addition, the support package for businesses affected by Russian shelling was expanded.

        From July 1, a new lending program will be launched, which will complement existing instruments within the "Made in Ukraine" policy

        First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko stated that lending programs for defense production, energy, and businesses in frontline regions are planned to be expanded.
