Details
According to the minister, an agreement was reached following negotiations between the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the Ministry of Interior and Administration of the Republic of Poland, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.
Bus traffic through the "Shehyni - Medyka" checkpoint will not be suspended during the summer season, even during repair works
He added that this will maintain stable transport links between Ukraine and Poland for passengers and international carriers.
Context
The State Customs Service reported that starting June 15 of this year, large-scale repair works on the bus lane for exiting Ukraine to Poland would begin at the "Shehyni - Medyka" checkpoint. In this regard, the passage of buses towards Poland was to be temporarily suspended.
The State Customs Service urged carriers and passengers to take these changes into account when planning trips and to choose other checkpoints for departure to Poland.
