Britain sends six fighter jets to Romania as part of NATO mission
The United Kingdom has sent six Typhoon fighter jets to Romania to protect NATO's eastern flank, located near the Black Sea. This is stated on the website of the British Air Force, UNN reports.

Personnel participating in the mission will be on standby at any time to launch a Quick Reaction Arrangement (QRA) to intercept Russian aircraft approaching NATO airspace
Until August, the fighter jets will fly from the Mihail Kogelnicianu air base near Constanta. It is noted that the four-month NATO mission also involves British aircraft of the 9th Bomb Squadron and more than 200 servicemen of the 140th Expeditionary Air Wing.
