I strongly condemn the Iranian regime's reckless attack on Israel. Iran has once again demonstrated that it intends to wreak havoc in its own backyard. The United Kingdom will continue to protect the security of Israel and all our regional partners, including Jordan and Iraq. Together with our allies, we are working urgently to stabilize the situation and prevent further escalation. No one wants to see more bloodshed

Iran launched dozens of drones and missiles at Israel on the evening of April 13. Iran said it was conducting the attack, among other things, in response to Israel's strike on the consulate in Damascus.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the country is ready for an Iranian attack and will respond to such an attack.
