The European Commission spokesperson said that Ukraine has a legitimate right to defend itself by striking the aggressor on its territory.

The European Union  supports Ukraine, which has become a victim of Russian aggression and has "a legitimate right to defend itself, including by striking the aggressor on its territory." This was stated in a commentary to Suspilne by the European Commission Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs Peter Stano, UNN reports.
