On Monday, May 18, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod region, RF). A major fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise; the scale is being clarified. On Tuesday, May 19, the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station in the area of the Semibratovo settlement in the Yaroslavl region of the RF was struck. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the AFU.

Details

The struck Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation. Its refining capacity is approximately 17 million tons of oil per year: the plant itself produces gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel used to meet the needs of the Russian troops.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically take measures to reduce the military-economic potential of the enemy and achieve a complete cessation of the RF's armed aggression against Ukraine

On May 16 and during the night of May 17, the AFU struck the Angstrem plant and a pumping station in the Moscow region. Strikes were also carried out on command posts and concentrations of the occupiers' manpower.
