A forest fire broke out in Mykolaiv district near the village of Polovynky. The SES localized the fire on an area of 5 hectares, 5 vehicles and 20 firefighters were engaged. The firefighting is ongoing, the cause is being established.

On the afternoon of August 12, a forest fire broke out near the village of Polovynky of the Vesnianska territorial community in Mykolaiv district. The fire was localized and is being extinguished. This was stated by the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region, reports UNN.

At present, the fire has been localized over an area of 5 hectares. Five units of SES equipment and 20 firefighters are working. Three additional water trucks are also involved. Firefighting continues, the cause is being established

The agency adds that the situation is being monitored using a quadcopter.

A fire broke out in the village of Vizyrka in Odesa region at a grain warehouse with an area of 2000 square meters. Thanks to the prompt actions of 53 rescuers and 14 units of SES equipment, the fire did not spread, and there were no injuries.
