In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote: "Their military is decimated, and their economy is lost. It's over for Iran!"
Claiming that more than 200 commercial vessels safely passed through this key waterway as part of a "secret mission," he added: "This incredibly successful experience was made possible because the U.S. controls the Strait of Hormuz, not Iran."
