"Just now, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, reported on the elimination of the attacker in Kyiv who opened fire on ordinary people. All circumstances are being clarified. Currently, 5 deaths are known. My condolences to the relatives and friends. As of now, 10 people have been hospitalized with injuries and wounds. Everyone is being provided with the necessary assistance. Four hostages were rescued," the head of state said.
"We expect a prompt investigation. Investigators of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are working. I instructed the Minister of Internal Affairs and the head of the National Police of Ukraine to provide the public with all verified information on this case," the President stated.
