Zelensky appoints new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service

Oleh Ivashchenko is appointed the new head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service, replacing Oleksandr Lytvynenko.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has changed the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, appointing Oleh Ivashchenko to the post, according to presidential decrees No. 187/2024 and No. 189/2024 of March 26, UNN reports.

The President dismissed Oleksandr Lytvynenko from the post of head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, appointing him as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, replacing Oleksiy Danilov.
"To appoint Ivashchenko Oleh Ivanovych as the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine," reads one of the presidential decrees.
