Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree appointing Mykola Kalashnik as the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. Prior to this, he headed the Kyiv Regional State Administration as acting head.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Mykola Kalashnyk as the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, who previously headed the Kyiv Regional State Administration as acting head. This is stated in decree No. 176/2025, reports UNN.

On December 28 last year, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the dismissal of the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, and the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Philip Pronin.
On December 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree dismissing Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
On December 31, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Ruslan Kravchenko as the head of the State Tax Service.
On January 1, 2025, Kalashnyk became the acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
On March 11, the government appointed Oleh Shymanskyi as Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs, and also approved the appointment of Mykola Kalashnyk as the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration and Vasyl Zhmendak as the head of the Kosiv Regional State Administration.
