Donald Trump has won the presidential election in Arizona, according to an Edison Research forecast released on Saturday, completing the counting of votes in all seven states where the election took place and securing a decisive advantage in the Electoral College over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

Republican Trump, who already received the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win on Wednesday, is now projected to have 312 votes to Harris' 226. In addition to Arizona, Trump won the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Nevada, which were considered swing states.

In 2020, Joe Biden defeated Trump, winning six of those seven states and losing slightly in North Carolina, securing 306 Electoral College votes to Trump's 232.

According to the Associated Press, Trump received 74.6 million votes nationwide, or 50.5%, compared to 70.9 million, or 48%, for Harris.
