Reuters notes that the talks in Riyadh have so far consisted of a meeting between the US delegation and Ukrainian officials on Sunday and with Russian officials today.

The discussions focused mainly on a limited ceasefire to ensure safe passage for shipping through the Black Sea to and from Ukraine, but as Reuters writes, Donald Trump said at the White House that other issues are emerging as he pushes for an end to Russia's three-year war against Ukraine.

In recent days, discussions have focused on whether attacks on energy infrastructure can be suspended and then lead to a temporary ceasefire and, eventually, a peace deal.

Earlier today, Serhiy Leshchenko, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, stated that the Ukrainian delegation remains in Saudi Arabia to hold consultations with the American team after their negotiations with Russia.

Meanwhile, today's negotiations between the Russian and US delegations have been ongoing for more than nine hours. There were three breaks during the meeting.

On Sunday, March 23, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported that the talks between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Riyadh had ended. The discussion was productive and focused, and key issues, including energy, were discussed.
