Transcarpathia continues to build fortifications in Zaporizhzhia region: results

The construction of fortifications and engineering structures, including shelters for equipment, communication routes, barrier systems and defense lines, continues in Zaporizhzhia region to strengthen Ukraine's defensive positions against enemy attacks.

Zakarpattia continues to build fortifications in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. There are 13 construction sites for engineering and fortification structures in the area of responsibility of Transcarpathia, 12 of which have already completed the creation of shelters for equipment. This was announced by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration Viktor Mykyta, UNN reports.

"Transcarpathia continues to build fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region," Mykyta said.

He noted that on the instructions of the President, work is underway in the frontline and border regions to increase the combat capabilities of the defense borders. Ukraine's defense positions are being strengthened every day.

"There are 13 construction sites for engineering and fortification structures in Zakarpattia's area of responsibility, 12 of which have already completed the construction of shelters for equipment. At three other sites, the construction of communication routes with a length of more than 6 thousand linear meters has been completed," Mykyta wrote.

According to him, builders and engineers from the Zakarpattia region, together with their equipment, are building a defense line and military engineering structures, arranging barrier systems, etc. around the clock despite constant enemy attacks.
