The government extended the deadline for using funds under the "National Cashback" program until July 31, 2026

Ukrainians will have an additional month to use the funds accumulated under the "National Cashback" program. The Ministry of Economy initiated the relevant changes to government resolutions, reports UNN with reference to the department.

According to the government's decision, cashback for April will start being credited to cards from July 3. These funds, as well as all previously accumulated funds on "National Cashback" cards, can be used until July 31, 2026 inclusive. Accordingly, the deadline for returning unused funds to the state budget has also been postponed by one month.

The Ministry of Economy noted that the April payment also includes cashback on fuel, which was in effect from March 20 to May 31 as a temporary anti-crisis instrument in response to the sharp rise in global fuel prices. The maximum amount of such compensation in April was 1000 hryvnias.

After July 31, 2026, unused funds on "National Cashback" cards will be returned to the state budget in accordance with the updated procedure.

At the same time, the ministry emphasized that the "National Cashback" program continues to operate as usual.

Currently, over 5 million active Ukrainians use the program. It has already been joined by over 2,000 manufacturers who have registered more than 422,000 Ukrainian-made goods, as well as almost 1,500 sellers.

Program participants can receive cashback in the amount of 5% or 15% depending on the category of goods. The maximum payout amount is 3000 hryvnias per month.

The accumulated funds can be used to pay for utilities and postal services, purchase food, medicines and other medical products of Ukrainian production, buy books and printed materials, as well as for charity, including support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
