After the end of the war in Ukraine, all cities will have a special security regime for the first 5-10 years due to the large number of weapons in circulation, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

After the end of a full-scale war in Ukraine, all cities should have special security conditions due to the large number of weapons in their hands. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with students of Chernivtsi universities, and added that he believes this will be the case for the first 5-10 years, reports a correspondent of UNN.

"People have a lot of weapons in their hands... This is always the case after the war, and we are no exception... So we must understand that there are a lot of weapons. We will settle this issue... we will settle it, there will be legislative things and so on. I know them, I've seen them, I'm not afraid of this," Zelensky said.

He noted that there should be special security conditions in all cities.

"Not only where the contact line is, or the border areas. Everywhere, including  in Chernivtsi. And in schools, and in universities, and special frameworks. I believe that for the first 5-10 years it will be like this... Where there is a large crowd of people, it should be very, very safe... Increasing security at the borders, in cities, in communities... We have to live with it," Zelensky said.
