The investigation established that a homemade explosive device was planted near the fence and detonated remotely. For this, the suspects used a mobile phone.
One of the suspects, a 23-year-old local resident, provided surveillance of the future crime scene. The other, a 17-year-old resident of Vinnytsia, directly manufactured and planted the explosive.
According to the investigation, the teenager received the task via messenger and acted on the instructions of a representative of the Russian special services, who promised a reward of about 5,000 dollars.
Both detainees have already been served with notices of suspicion. The issue of choosing a pre-trial restraint for them is currently being decided. The prosecution will insist on their detention without bail.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, it was separately established that the minor suspect has a drug addiction and had previously been brought to criminal responsibility. In fact, the child was left without proper supervision.
In this regard, the prosecutor's office will check the actions of the parents, as well as the responsible bodies and services that were supposed to ensure the protection of the child's rights.
