"The enemy does not abandon its intentions to drive our units from their positions. Over the past day, it made 3 attempts to attack on the left bank of the Dnipro River and 7 in the areas of Robotyno and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region. Having suffered losses, it retreated to its original positions," the Defense Forces of the south of Ukraine said in a Telegram post.
"Our soldiers continue to take comprehensive measures to hold and strengthen their positions," the statement said.
As indicated, in the operational area of the Defense Forces of the South, a powerful daily counter-battery fight continues.
The occupiers are reportedly continuing aerial reconnaissance, artillery shelling, air strikes, and the use of a large number of attack drones of various types.
"There are no ships of the enemy's small arms in the Black and Azov Seas. Missile carriers did not leave their basing points," the statement said.
