The ministry emphasizes that the Ministry of Defense continues to improve the effectiveness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the framework of cooperation with NATO.
To this end, more than 50 military standards have been adopted since the beginning of 2024. These include military standards for the operation of weapons and military equipment, the safe storage of ammunition and explosives, troop management, etc
The Ministry of Defense also said that this year two national standards for the life cycle management system for weapons and military equipment were adopted.

In addition, by the end of 2024, the Ministry of Defense plans to adopt about 40 more standards recommended by the Alliance.
The implementation of NATO standards is included in the government's 2024 priority action plan. According to the package of NATO Partnership Goals, Ukraine plans to adopt 219 standards by 2025, of which 190 have already been implemented (128 of them on a voluntary basis)
