"During the morning attack, the enemy tried to hit the Dniester hydroelectric power plant. Air defense forces shot down missiles near this important facility. The wreckage of two missiles has already been found," Zaparaniuk said on Telegram.

"Thanks to our Armed Forces, our air defense system, the missiles were all absolutely shot down," Zaparaniuk said.

According to him, "the energy system of the region is functioning normally.

He also said that "the blast wave damaged the administrative building and the water supply system." "At the same time, water supply is being carried out as usual. Fortunately, people were not injured," said the RMA head.

According to him, law enforcement officers are currently conducting investigative actions. Teams have been formed to examine the site and a special commission has been formed to determine the damage.

"During the air raid, mobile fire groups were also involved, as there was a threat of an attack by enemy UAVs. During one of the previous attacks, our mobile firing groups have already demonstrated their effectiveness by destroying an enemy drone over the territory of a neighboring region," he added.

The head of the Chernivtsi RMA emphasized that "one of the main priorities now is reliable protection of infrastructure facilities." "We are working hard on this," he said.
