In the Chernihiv region, drones caused 7 hectares of plantations to burn and damaged infrastructure. In the Sumy region, nine civilians were wounded as a result of shelling.

Russia continues to attack Chernihiv and Sumy regions, damaging infrastructure and causing a large-scale wildfire, local regional military administrations and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.
Chernihiv Region
"Over the past day, Russians shelled the Chernihiv region – mainly using FPV drones and drone drops in the border areas. A total of 39 shellings were recorded – that's 51 explosions," Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported on social media.
According to the head of the RMA, at least two districts were affected:
- in Novhorod-Siverskyi, the roof and ceiling of a residential building were damaged as a result of a UAV crash;
- in the Chernihiv district – a hit on transport infrastructure;
- in the Koriukivka community, as well as the Horodnia and Kyselivka communities of the Chernihiv district, vegetation caught fire due to the fall of strike drones and their debris. All fires were extinguished by rescuers.
According to the State Emergency Service, a large-scale wildfire of self-seeded plantations and dry vegetation broke out in the Koriukivka district due to the crash of a Russian UAV.
"The fire spread in separate pockets over a total area of about 7 hectares. Thanks to the actions of the emergency workers, it was possible to prevent the further spread of the fire and liquidate it," the report says.
Sumy Region
According to the State Emergency Service, 3 people were injured in the Sumy region due to Russian strikes on Romny, and fires broke out. The residential sector and an infrastructure facility were targeted by the enemy. Due to the threat of repeated attacks, rescuers temporarily suspended work and moved to a safe place. Currently, all fire pockets have been liquidated.
In total, over the past day in the region, according to data from the head of the Sumy RMA Oleh Hryhorov, there were almost 70 shellings across 34 settlements in 19 communities; 9 people were injured due to Russian attacks. Infrastructure was damaged in 7 communities.
