The number of casualties resulting from the massive Russian attack in the Rivne region has risen to 6, with three people killed, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.

"Currently, three dead and six wounded are known," the police stated.
As noted by the police, preliminary information indicates hits on civilian infrastructure, specifically a residential building. Houses and vehicles were damaged across the region.

Russia launched a massive attack today, including on western Ukraine.
"Our air defense is actively working. Lviv region is under a massive attack by enemy drones. At this moment, there is a high threat in various districts of our region. The situation is changing rapidly," reported the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, on social media.
"An enemy drone is heading towards Lviv. Stay in shelters until the alert ends. Do not film or publish the work of air defense," Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi stated on social media.
Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv also reported on the operation of air defense.
An air raid alert was also declared in Zakarpattia amid the drone threat; the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported enemy drones heading towards Mukachevo, in particular.
"Enemy drones are in the airspace of Zakarpattia! Stay in safe places!" stated the head of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration, Myroslav Biletskyi.
