The Navy spokesperson reported on Russia's preparations for a Ukrainian landing in Crimea. The occupiers are actively strengthening vulnerable areas to defend the peninsula.

The Russian Federation fears a Ukrainian landing in occupied Crimea and is preparing the peninsula for this by strengthening its own defense capabilities. This was stated by the spokesperson for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, in an interview with the Kyiv Independent, as reported by UNN.

As Pletenchuk noted, Ukraine practices landing operations, and Russia considers this a real threat.
"In any case, the enemy considers this an absolutely real threat. The Russians are actively strengthening areas in Crimea vulnerable to landings because they believe in such a possibility. We continue to practice amphibious operations,"
The Navy spokesperson added that landing operations are conducted as part of a larger-scale military operation.
"If necessary, we will carry out any operation required for the liberation of Ukrainian Crimea,"
