Roads may be flooded: high water levels on rivers in Chernihiv region

High water levels on the rivers of Chernihiv Oblast could cause flooding of floodplains and roads, disrupting transportation links to some villages.
High water levels remain on the rivers of Chernihiv Oblast, and due to these difficult conditions, roads may be flooded. In this regard, the first and second levels of danger have been declared. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.
On March 26-28, flooding of floodplain areas and roads on the floodplain will continue on the Desna and its tributary, the Snov River, disrupting transport links with some villages in Novhorod-Siverskyi, Koryukiv, Nizhyn, and Chernihiv districts (Hazard Level I - yellow),

It is noted that flooding of the floodplain on the Upper Dnipro (within the country) will continue, disrupting transport links between a number of riverside villages and the waters of the Sozh and Dnipro in Chernihiv district (orange hazard level II).
