In Sumy region, rescuers came under repeated enemy attack while extinguishing a fire at a farm, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"On the morning of December 24, a farm building was damaged as a result of a UAV attack on the Krolevets community. A fire broke out. Rescuers quickly localized the fire and prevented its spread. While working, they heard the sounds of an enemy drone and managed to retreat to a safe distance. Soon after, the "Shahed" hit near the site of the previous strike," the agency said.
As noted, the fire was extinguished.
"Preliminary, people were not injured. The animals died," the SES said.
