Intelligence showed a 3D model of the drone with Chinese cameras and Swiss chips. The drone has a range of 45 km and uses AI for target tracking.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has showcased an interactive 3D model of the new Russian reconnaissance drone "Knyaz Veshchiy Oleg". This was reported by UNN with reference to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Details
According to intelligence data, the developer and manufacturer of this UAV is the Russian "Scientific and Production Center "Ushkuynyk", which is also known for creating FPV drones on fiber optics "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodskiy" and interceptors "Osoed".
The Main Directorate of Intelligence noted that the drone has a wingspan of 2.8 meters and a maximum take-off weight of 11 kg. The tactical and technical characteristics declared by the enemy include a range of up to 45 km, flight duration of up to 3.5 hours, speed of up to 130 km/h, and altitude of up to 3 thousand meters.
The drone is equipped with two cameras: a Chinese-made Shenzhen Zhongxi Security IP course camera, and a Chinese-made D-80AI gyro-stabilized optical system. This system includes a three-axis gimbal, a wide-angle FullHD camera, and a camera with 10x optical zoom.
In addition, the system has night vision functions, real-time target detection and tracking using artificial intelligence technologies.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence also indicated that the flight controller is built on microcontrollers of the Swiss brand STMicroelectronics, manufactured in China and Taiwan, as well as on components from CUAV Technology from China. A four-channel CRP antenna is used for navigation in conditions of electronic warfare countermeasures. The drone's movement is provided by two Chinese-made SunnySky electric motors installed on the wing consoles.
Intelligence emphasized that, despite its involvement in the production of weapons for the war against Ukraine, receiving state funding, and training Russian military personnel, the SPC "Ushkuynyk" is currently under sanctions only from Ukraine, the European Union, and Switzerland.
The aggressor state continues to develop its own weapon samples, maintaining access to foreign technologies through supply networks and intermediaries
The agency added that such developments can be used not only in the war against Ukraine but also to destabilize the security situation in other regions of the world, particularly by Russia's allies - Iran and North Korea.
Recall
In 2025, Russian developers adapted the "Molniya" FPV drone for aerial reconnaissance, integrating a Raspberry Pi 5 microcomputer and a Chinese Mini PC F8. The new version, "Molniya-2R", is equipped with a SIYI ZR10 camera with ten-fold optical zoom and Starlink for data transmission.
