Peter Diamandis believes the merger of SpaceX and Tesla is a matter of time to consolidate Musk's control. This would allow for the integration of terrestrial and space infrastructure.

Early SpaceX investor Peter Diamandis stated that a merger between SpaceX and Tesla after an IPO is "only a matter of time." He said this in an interview with Bloomberg Television, UNN reports.

According to Diamandis, merging the companies would allow Elon Musk to consolidate control over his business empire. He noted that at SpaceX, Musk holds super-voting rights, which he lacks at Tesla, where he has faced shareholder claims regarding corporate governance and compensation.
"I'm saying this not as a question of if, but only as a question of when these companies will merge,"
Diamandis believes that the combination of SpaceX and Tesla will create a global infrastructure on Earth and in space.
"This will give Musk the opportunity to operate with all of this infrastructure,"
Bloomberg notes that SpaceX is preparing for an IPO, which could become one of the largest in history. The publication also recalls that Musk has previously discussed the possibility of such a deal, specifically regarding the merger of SpaceX with the company xAI.
