Air defense forces neutralized one ballistic missile and 149 drones during a massive shelling. Hits from eight missiles and 14 drones were recorded at 14 locations.
Russia launched 11 ballistic missiles and 164 drones at Ukraine overnight; 1 missile and 149 drones were shot down or suppressed, while two enemy ballistic missiles failed to reach their targets, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of May 5 (from 18:00 on May 4), the enemy attacked with 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov, Voronezh, and Bryansk regions, as well as 164 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody"-type decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo – RF, and Gvardiyske – temporarily occupied Crimea.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare (EW) units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 1 ballistic missile and 149 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as "Parody" decoy drones in the north, south, east, and center of the country. Hits from 8 ballistic missiles and 14 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at 10 locations.
