The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has released data on occupiers disguising themselves as civilians in the Zaporizhzhia region. Such actions constitute a war crime and threaten the lives of the civilian population.
Occupants in the Zaporizhzhia region are disguising themselves as civilians to carry out sabotage. This is evidenced by a new intercept from Ukrainian intelligence, released by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports UNN.

It is noted that Russians from the 7th Airborne Assault Division of the Russian Armed Forces are flagrantly violating the norms of international humanitarian law in the Orikhiv direction: in order to advance somehow and avoid receiving a fiery "greeting" from the sky from the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the invaders are changing into civilian clothes.

The GUR points out that the use of civilian clothing to disguise combatants is a war crime that creates additional risks for the civilian population in the combat zone.
