The permanent deployment of nuclear facilities in Poland will not improve its security, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov. According to him, such facilities will become a military target for Russia. This was reported by the Russian media, UNN reports .

Ryabkov said that the expansion of the practice of joint nuclear missions of NATO is destabilizing and "in fact threatening". In his opinion, the approach of joint nuclear missions of NATO countries to Russian borders exacerbates the threat to Russia.

"Therefore, all those politicians who are now enthusiastically discussing such a scheme in Poland and abroad for their own reasons must understand that shifts in this direction will not add to Poland's security, and the relevant facilities will definitely become a target. In his opinion, the discussion about the deployment of NATO nuclear facilities in Poland is an "evolving story." He noted that the Russian Federation is watching how Warsaw is "working on this topic in its internal discourse.
