No power outages planned, but there were interruptions due to shelling - Ministry of Energy

The fighting caused power outages in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Power companies have restored power to 3,277 consumers, but 484 settlements remain without electricity.

No power outages are planned for today, but it is advisable to use electricity sparingly, especially during peak hours, in particular from 17:00 to 22:00. In Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions , substations, consumers, and a mine were cut off from power due to the fighting and shelling. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Friday, UNN writes.

"There will be no scheduled power outages today," the statement said.

Shelling

Donetsk region: the hostilities caused a power outage at a substation, household consumers, and a mine. At the time of the incident, there were 66 employees in the mine. All of them were brought to the surface.

Kharkiv region: as a result of hostilities, household consumers lost power.

Kherson region: several substations and household consumers lost power due to shelling of a substation. Power supply has been restored to all consumers.

De-energization

Power engineers have restored power to 3,277 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions.

In total, 484 settlements remain without power supply due to the hostilities and technical violations.

Situation at ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond is 14.79 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant, the Ministry of Energy said.
