NATO Secretary General on possible negotiations with Russia: “We must make sure that Ukraine is in a position of strength”

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said it was necessary to strengthen Ukraine's position before possible peace talks. According to him, Ukraine will be the leader of the negotiation process, but other parties will also take part.
Before possible talks on ending the war in Ukraine, NATO plans to put Kyiv in a stronger position. At the talks, Ukraine will be the leader, but there will be other participants, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said following the second day of meetings of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, UNN reports .

When asked whether he sees NATO as a negotiator at the table to end the war, Rutte replied:
“Obviously, when we get to that point, and I think we all pray that this moment will come, that this moment will come when peace talks can begin, we will have to discuss many things. Ukraine will be the leader, but at the same time there will be other participants. I'm not going to speculate now about who will be at the negotiating table and who will not, because I think we should focus now on getting Ukraine to take this position.
