Kyiv • UNN
More than 600 trucks crossed the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing point per day, where automatic license plate recognition cameras are being tested ahead of the system's rollout to other checkpoints.
The largest automobile border crossing point in Ukraine, Yahodyn-Dorohusk, where the electronic border crossing queue (eCheck) has been tested since 2022, has received more than 600 trucks that left for Poland over the past day, UNN reports citing the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.
More than 600 trucks left through the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing point with Poland over the past day, the statement said.
The largest automobile checkpoint in Ukraine has been testing the eCheckpoint service since 2022, and since 2024, automatic license plate recognition cameras have been operating.
These opportunities have been provided, among other things, with the support of the USAID/UK aid project Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services (TAPAS).
According to the Ukrainian ministry, it plans to install similar automatic recognition cameras at other checkpoints.
To recap
Starting April 24, buses can choose the time of border crossing at 10 checkpoints with Moldova as part of the electronic queue service.
