The Biden administration plans to deliver thousands of missiles, hundreds of thousands of shells, and hundreds of armored vehicles to Ukraine in 5 weeks. The Pentagon is using sea and air routes to expedite the delivery.
The outgoing administration of U.S. President Joe Biden intends to transfer thousands of missiles, hundreds of thousands of artillery shells and hundreds of armored vehicles to Ukraine in the five weeks remaining before Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20. This was reported by the American TV channel CNN, according to UNN.
“The Department of Defense is making a historic effort to deliver massive amounts of weapons to Ukraine over the next five weeks,” a senior official from the outgoing US administration told the TV channel. - “Between now and mid-January, we will deliver hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds, thousands of missiles, hundreds of armored vehicles, and other critical materiel to Ukraine.
According to CNN, the interagency program to speed up the transfer of weapons to Ukraine is headed by Biden's national security aide, Jake Sullivan. In November, he asked Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to speed up the delivery of armored vehicles, missiles, artillery, and other weapons to Ukraine. Currently, the Pentagon uses sea and air logistics routes for this purpose.

“The Biden administration is working to increase arms shipments to Ukraine in his final days in office to give Kyiv a solid foundation to prepare for 2025,” CNN writes.
The TV channel, which more often supports the US Democratic Party, writes that such policies of the Biden administration “stand in stark contrast to the actions of the new Trump administration.”
