Details
According to Lubinets, the conversation "was not easy, but this dialogue and the humanitarian track in general must be expanded."
"Most importantly: we proposed involving the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross - Ed.) and ombudspersons from foreign countries so that they could personally visit the places of detention of our prisoners of war and illegally detained civilians,"
He specified that, in addition, due to the lack of diplomatic relations, the parties agreed to directly exchange official certificates—this will allow for a faster resolution of civil law issues for our citizens.
"Separately, we agreed to conduct a verification of all existing lists regarding prisoners of war and civilians held in places of detention," Lubinets added.
